Stopped Vehicles, Wrong Way and Cattle

Stopped vehicles — a vehicle stopped on the carriageway, shoulder or slip road longer than allowed, with a snapshot to the patrol team
Wrong way — a vehicle driving against the traffic on the carriageway or a slip road
People and cattle — people and animals on the carriageway and at median openings, by schedule; cattle, dogs and monkeys are told apart from people

At the Toll Plaza

Every Lane on Record

Plates — each vehicle's number plate read in its lane, with alerts on listed and unreadable plates
Counts — vehicles counted by lane, hour and type — car, bus, truck and two-wheeler — and exported to Excel to check against the toll system's own figures
Queues, booths and cash room — an alert when the vehicles waiting in a lane stay above the set number; the time each booth is staffed; presence out of hours and two people on one entry at the cash room

Crews Safe Behind the Cones

Work-zone intrusions — a vehicle entering the coned-off zone, from a camera at the work zone
PPE — lane staff or crews without a reflective vest or helmet — confirmed on site footage during the Proof of Concept
Crews, stores and fire — face-recognition attendance for crews, patrol and toll staff; equipment removed from stores; flames and smoke at plazas

Uses the road's existing plaza and highway cameras, with a camera at each work zone to be watched
The toll and traffic management systems are not changed and no connection to them is made — counts and plate records are exported for comparison
Alerts to the patrol team, plaza manager or control room by app, e-mail, SMS or WhatsApp, escalated when nobody acknowledges
Alerts serve operations and safety, not e-challans or fines; vehicle counting by fee class (axles) is available on request as custom analytics

Water Level at Underpasses and Bridges

The level read from a staff gauge or a marker post in view, with an alert above or below the set levels. Night use needs light on the gauge. Commissioned only after a validation on the site's own cameras.
